Description

Sovereign Rendermix is a waterproofing additive for incorporation into the backing render coat after the insertion of a DPC injection. When used in sand cement renders it also provides workability so that further admixtures are not required.

Its use, described in the Sovereign Re-rendering Specification, ensures the hygroscopic salts are prevented from moving to the surface plaster and exhibiting secondary dampness. Rendermix is not a vapour barrier and so will allow the walls to dry out and breathe naturally.
